Default whats wrong with it?

were did my stealth bottom end go? i know their bottom ends wernt the greatest but its completely gone it dont launch really until 5k rpms. i raced a grand am gt and it completly killed me it was stock and i had no chance. ive been loosing to everything lately. one of my friends who knows alot more then i do says it might be the cat since it is the stock exhuast his theory is that the cat is all clogged up and that is making me loose my bottom end could this be true? any other ideas? i will be getting a perofrmance exhaust custom and a kn cold air intake kit very soon will this help me get my bottom end back?

A catalytic converter can and will clog up over time...and it will hamper low end power. Deleting it is a good, cheap mod, if you are in an area that does not smog test....and if you can live with yourself for the extra pollution.

How many miles since you checked the plugs/wires...air filter...etc...

its getting a tune up in a week plugs wire ect. will be replaced
