Default Flowmaster installed

Well I installed my flowmaster setup. For those who dont know what I got,

I got

*SUPER 40 FLOWMASTER
*Two prebent 2 1/4" aluminized steel two-piece tail pipes
*Two polished 3 1/2" chrome tips
and all the brackets and clamps to hold it on.

The process...

Currently over here in CT, I currently dont have the weather, the time, or the right tools to do the job, so I had to get it profesionally installed.

I brought it in, and they cut the old system out, and ran into some problems. The extention pipe didnt fit, it was too long, so they had to cut it, and weld it to a pipe that was already there, after doing that, they were all set. They welded on the two tips, and bolted on the system, and welded all the seems. They did an outstanding job. It was pricey, but I believe it was all well worth it.

The result...

My god is my truck loud...and I love it. My truck has such a loud rumble, and I think I feel the power difference. * maybe I think I wanna think I feel the power increase :-) *

I am very happy with my setup, and now can officially recommend the
Flowmaster super 40 muffler for sound, and power.

*the end *

Nice setup. I had my stock system yanked last October at a local Meineke shop. They did an outstanding job of fabricating the new system from 2.5 inch stock. New cat-back system incorporates single in-dual out Flowmaster SUV 50 muffler to side outs terminating in slash cut stainless steel tips. Sounds great without being annoying-nice mellow rumble. All joints welded-no u-clamps.

Nah ill get some pics today, It looks great, and sounds great. The system cost me about 260ish, and cost 200 to get it installed, and slightly customized. But the system is so solid, I was amazed on how hard they worked. So in all, it set me back about 460

yea, that inlet pipe they sent you was correct, but they make it long for the HO trucks, because they dont have a front resonator. im glad that kit worked out!

Hey man thats a sweet setup. Exactly what I want to do to mine. Where in CT are you? Im in Meriden. Have you noticed a difference good or bad in gas milage or power yet? Also, how much louder than stock is it? I want a nice rumble, but not too obnoxious. My wife wont be too fond of me carting my 2 kids around in a loud ass truck, but I really want it to sound good.
