Default Fix for the Brembo brakes on it's way!

I just got finished reading through the latest SRT chat session over at srtforums.com. Apparentally a permanent fix for our brakes is on the way to "kill the problem dead". That means no more squealing, dust, and rotor grooving. Hurray!

Hmmm...I guess nobody else is bothered by their squealing, dust spewing brake pads like I am...

The fix will be new pads superior to what is currently being offered on the TSB.

The fix is about 6 weeks out while Dodge awaits delivery of parts to distribute. This info comes directly from SRT.

Thanks for the further info 06MNRT!

I was gravely disapointed with the first so-called fix for the pads. My brakes still squeak just as bad as before! I love my Charger, and I'll love it even more once all the little quirks are solved with it.

What about the gouge marks on the rotors? Is Dodge gonna take care of that too?

THE BRAKE DUST IS INCREDIBLE. THIS HAS TO BE FIXED ASAP!!!
SOMEONE START A GUGE CAMPAIGN IF THIS DOESNT GET RESOLVED SOON, plz.

The rotor scoring, and the squeaking IS the issue, and as posted above, will be taken care of shortly.

Brake dust is brake dust, and is NOT an actual issue. ALL high performance brakes create a lot of dust. Drive a BMW M5, a RUF Porsche, a Ferrari, etc and you will see the same amount of, if not more, brake dust. So we have to clean our wheels more often, small price to pay for superior stopping power.

LMAO Otimmayo!!!

I definately hear ya there! But hey, why not go for alittle menage a trois and take both of them with ya into the shower? :P

I certainly hope that the SRT boys have this problem fixed before summer. Nothing is more embarassing than pulling up at a light with squeaky brakes. My boss made fun of me once saying that if I bought a Ford instead, it would've been built right and the brakes wouldn't be squeaking. [:'(] LoL
