Road and Track It would appear that I underestimated the 2006 Z06 It's not often I say this but I belive its time for me to retire this dispute. Congrats to my worthy advisary, devilish as he may be. but seriously, I would rather have the raw Viper over the sleek Corvette anyday, if I had the money for a viper, then I would have no problem dropping cash on a twin turbo setup.

What a Joke this car world is now For starters, DODGE THEMSELVES cant get a STOCK SRT-10 Viper to do an 11.6 1/4 mile.....so why dont you ask your customer what mods he has done on the car......and if it truly is stock.....get some slips....

right..and is your customer a professional driver, running in ideal conditions? because when those cars are tested, they are done so by a professional driver, in ideal conditions...

You got a ways to go, Im not stating that the Vipers Official time should be 11.6 But It is an 11 second care PERIOD none the less. The First stock Viper to enter the 11s was the 97 GTS. You think Chrysler cant do what? LOL ..... You have no Idea.

EXACTLY I am In a ‘Dry ‘Cold ‘Climate with a huge drag racing scene so I guess I have a major advantage. Hes an Avid Racer, thats why he has a few Vipers, and has been a Mopar Enthusiast his life. But that doesn’t matter, If people would think before they speak, that would stop making so many assumptions.

I didnt say anything about a damn GTS. Those were different cars and different setups. Also, STOCK means straight out the gate from the factory.....not some mild aftermarket swap outs like exhaust, headers, etc.... If some of the best drivers on the planet cant get it to do it.....how's your buddy?

Ive been watching this little debate for a while now, and have finally gotten fed up enough to make a post so here goes, as far as the viper running 11 seconds stock it does and even has in motor trend magazine. I'll even send you the link. Also the performance numbers put out by chrysler are not the fastest attainable times by the vehicle but times that anyone should be able to attain. Take a look at the link. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/coupe/112_0401_exotic_coupe_comparison/specs_price.html
