The Chevy Avalanche/Cadillac Escalade has been that style for a while now. If anything, Honda stole the design to build the Ridgline. The entire Chevy truck lineup has been being changed over to a more rounded sporty look and it just so happens they look similar this year. You'll find that same front end basically on the Tahoe, Suburban, and Escalade.
And the Dodge Nitro, current model Durango arent? Look, Dodge/Chrysler have just as many crappy models as they do good looking models....same with every other automaker.
Chevy has had the rights to that look on their trucks since the mid 80's. They used a type of roll bar that was similar to the one today. Honda, however, didn't didn't have a truck out before the 80's Chevy's, or before the Avalanche. Judging from that, Honda did steal Chevy's design. My guess is Honda believes it will give an American made feeling or something that connects with previous generation buyers. Either way, stolen or not, I'd go with the Ridgeline.
What the hell do the Nitro or the Durango have to do with it? Sorry, but I thought the topic was Chevy Ridgeline! And that's what I was commenting on. I think ONE of us may be on the wrong forum if the point is to FLAME DCX. Seems that every time I have a negative comment about a product by the General you take some serious offense to it. Well I'm on DODGE forum and the opinions voiced by most member here are usually pro DCX or Chrysler or Dodge or Jeep hell even Mercedes. I normally don't see many people singing the praises of GM and I most definitely wont be one. THEY SUCK! THEIR PRODUCTS ARE OVERRATED JUNK AND THE PEOPLE WHO KEEP BUYING THEM ARE BRAINLESS LEMMINGS! THEIR LINEUP IS WEAK AND IF IT WASN'T FOR TRUCK SALES THEY WOULD BE IN BANKRUPTCY RIGHT NOW! NUFF TIME SPENT TALKING ABOUT THOSE LOSERS!
