That looks great, I wonder if they are being really conservative with their performance numbers though, i'd think the 0-60 on it with 300hp and AWD would easily be 5 seconds or less, with 300hp that would put it right around a Subaru Impreza WRS STI and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo for power to weight ratio.

There will be both an AWD and a FWD version of this car....as the R/T is AWD http://www.dodge.com/caliber/vehicle.html Evo IX still will eat this alive....as you got to remember....the SRT-4 model will come stock with a turbo....otherwise it wouldnt even compare...

I havent been keeping up with my Evo knowledge....but that's good to know... As for the AWD issue, there's no way they dont offer it....

People keep saying, "Oh I see nothing about AWD, it hasn't been confirmed, it's FWD now"... Well I say to them, you see nothing about FWD either... It's hasn't been confirmed, so I guess it's a no-wheel-drive... The wheels don't move... lol

And the Evo also comes stock with a turbo so no clue what you mean by that. quote:
ORIGINAL: MidnightBlueNeon There is no way the R/T is available AWD and the SRT isn't... Unfortunatly it could happen, it did with the Magnum, you can get a Magnum R/T AWD, but the SRT is RWD only, same for the 300C, but hopefully they will give it AWD.

ORIGINAL: CTGrey02 The R/T is AWD and just as slow as the SXT because of it. We'll see what happens, but I dont see it happening while keeping costs down in the under 25k range. Well with the Caliber SXT and R/T it's because even with the R/T the car just doesn't have enough hp to warent an AWD system for performance, it will still help in snow and stuff but it wouldn't be traction limited with just fwd, at 300hp SRT would be traction limited, enought that only FWD would probably impact it's performance a lot, just as an example look at thr SRT-8's, a Carger SRT-8 does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, the Grand Cherokee does it in only 4.5 seconds while having 5hp less and almost 600 pounds heavier, that's basicaly because the Charger is very traction limited.
