Default Car & Driver Says SRT-8 Grand Cherokee Loses vs Chevy SS?

Anyone see the most rescent BS Car & Driver claim where the SRT-8 Cherokee LOSES versus the Chevy Trailblazer SS? They had the stats shown and they clearly mark that the SRT-8 dominated engine performance and a whole other category, which I can't recall. It owned two out of three categories. The SRT also had up-to-date interior compared to the old ratty 80's looking Trailblazer interior, and C&D still made it lose.

Here's some power stats just to give a hint of what the mag offered:

Trailblazer SS 0-60 in 5.7
Jeep SRT-8 0-60 in 4.6
Trailblazer ss 391 hp
Jeep srt-8 415 hp

Personally I think C&D needs to be banned. They always give whatever's new out the champion title, and not what vehicle truely deserves it. For example the the new Ridgeline. Truck of the year! New Civic. Car of the year! And when the new Tacoma came out. Truck of the year! The Dodge Ram would have ran circles around the Ridgeline/Tacoma had C&D been realistic, and the SRT-8 raped the Trailblazer silly: no credit given.

</end rant>

Yeah um I agree except for one thing... They are not crowning the new vehicles... They are crowning Japanese vehicles and Chevy... I know one thing, they never seem to give DCX credit... Especially in this one... The GC SRT-8 rapes the SS... total BS...

MPH mag rules...

car and driver may be bad, but nothing compares to the load of bull**** consumers reports lie about foreign reliability.

I never understood it, C&D always pulls for the ****tiest cars of all. They NEVER EVER give Mopar any credit, when the "new" bodystyle Ram came out, I have an issue where they reviewed it and stated that "Taking off in the gas-guzzling Hemi will seem like you are being obnoxious even with the slightest amount of pressure of your foot, seeming a bit overpowered for normal driving......" WHAT???????? Now if Honda or Toyota ever could produce anything like the Hemi, it would probably read something like this , "Taking off in the fuel effecient yet oh so powerful V-8 of this wonderful Japanese automobile work of art is so pleasant as once again the Japanese have found a way to balance the perfect amount of power yet refinement that rises above the American competition, now please excuse me while I suck on this trucks exhaust pipe...."

What a crock!
