I just recently purchased a Dodge Charger R/T in the beginning of this month, and let me tell you it's awesome!!!. However I do have one problem with it. About a week after purchase I started hearing skreeching noises coming from my front brakes. I took it in to have them inspected and they just cleaned them. The brakes were noise free for about a week and now I can hear the noise every now and then. I talked to my friend about the brakes but he told me it's normal for sport brakes to make those noises, at least that's what he was told by his mercedes benz dealership when he took his kompressor spord edition. So my question is this, are those skreeching noises really normal or should I take my beloved Charger back and demand new brakes? The noises only occur every now and then but it's annoying none the less. Any help or info is appreaciated.

I would say it's normal every now and then for them to make noise. The material now days is loaded with metalic and the high speed braking will glaze over the rotors. The 02 Dodge Ram I traded in on the Daytona had 2 different sets of rotors and 4 different brands of pads and they all started it eventually. I and the shop finally gave up and I just turned up the radio.
