Default Magnum tires-what are the options??

I think the stock tires are horrid. At 12,500 miles my WIFE's Magnum tires are at the wear bars. They were terrible from 7,000 miles on(right when the computer let it go). What are the options for new tires? Any compatible size is acceptable, I know there are few choices as far as I have been able to find.

Joe Magnum,
Be sure to get a low tread rating! I got some Toyo's for $123 Each. The same size as the stock Charger Tire. (They are the exact same rim) I hated my Conti's due to the quick tread wear, but they did handle a lot better... Seems to me, that the soft tires work well with the ESP System... I can get sideways with these tires, as I didn't in the same situation with my Conti's. Also, the streering is a bit harder with the wider tires... Next set of tires I get will have the lowest tread rating possible. A very 'sticky' tire, as this is what these heavy cars with loads of power really needs...

I drove a rental charger with the Goodyear Assurance tires. They come in the same size as the conti's, they have a lot meat on them compared to the conti's and handle nice. They were pretty quite...and dollar wise better if not same as conti's. The Goodyears are on the 06 Mags and Chargers.

I put on 255/55/20's on my R/T. They are the NITTO 420s models. Run them only when I know there is no snow around, so they are off as of now and I do miss them!! The stock wheels just ain't all that

I just bought a set of BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDWS in 245/55/18 (same diameter but about inch wider). Reviews I have read are generally good for this tire, as well as wear issues. I should get them today and have them installed at a local shop. I picked these up new on ebay including shipping for $430/set, so they were actually pretty inexpensive. I have liked all my previous BFGoodrich tires for car and trucks so I think they will be a good tire.
