Hi, everyone! I'm new here, but visit other sites frequently. I purchased a new '06 R/T just before Thanksgiving. I absolutely love the car. I have added the MP cold air intake, Magnaflow full cat-back exhaust, and recently added the JET Stage 2 chip. The chip doesn't seem to have done much, if anything. About the only thing I've noticed is that the tranny won't down shift as far as it would before. It just won't get into the gear I need/want sometimes. Anyone else have this chip or experienced this? I've e-mailed JET, but I'm still waiting to hear back. Would sure like to hear from anyone else who has this chip.

Thanks, and I'm glad to be here.

I'm new too -- hello everyone! I just bought a '06 Charger Daytona #2338 in Mango. Love the car, but the 5.7 leaves me wondering. I see you have done some homework, and I have started asking before I jump into a new car's engine. I recently sold my 71 GTX 440 4 speed car, so I'm not good at the new Hemi stuff. The old stuff, like me, I could work on and talk about, but the new Hemi, although just an engine, seems to have lots of high tech built in. So for me going from carbs, spark plug wires, and distributor timing, to none of it, is a bit scary. From my younger days, I knew LOTS of guys that blindly threw hundreds, even thousands, into a car and made it SLOWER! So, I'm reading carefully and asking. My plan is much like yours. Maxx headers, K&N FIPK intake, and stage 2 JET chip. Later, when I figure out how to dismantle the MDS from the engine, I'd like to install the #2 step XFI 268 Comp Cam. Anyway, let me know what you think and how your project is going. Anyone else reading this, please give me any ideas you've tried or seen. I certainly looked at the Magna Charger supercharger, but I'm not sure about positive pressure on an engine equals longevity. Thanks again.

i have the same upgrades and jet performance suggests that you use 91 octane for best results

hello everyone, im new to the forum, but i see alot of post on the jet stage chip, dont know much about it,but i rode in a ford diesel (f-250) with a superchip yesterday put in by a friend ,because his company programs the chip in the truck to pull,it has 3 settings,he swears by them and damm i could not believe the power this truck had, smoke 4 wheels
on take off,a diesel.i actually think it was faster than my new hemi charger, that is the 2nd ford truck i have been in and believe me those chips work,he said this setting was on (economy) he also said if it was on a more powerful setting i would not believe what it would do(awesome for such a 8500 lb truck what a tuner ,i see that they are comming for the charger, sorry but it is the flash programmer superchips brand,my mistake i said it was a chip.

The JET chip for the Charger does not have separate settings - at least not that I'm aware of. Maybe you mean a "tuner"? I'm waiting to receive a tuner for mine - supposed to ship just after the 15th, I hope.
