Default Dodge MaxxCab quote from Autoweek.com

Dodge MAXXcab
Dodge explains the angular MAXXcab this way: While traditional pickups are all about cargo and hauling it, recent attention has turned to the passengers, with larger, more comfortable cabs (witness the Dakota Quad Cab as an example). Dodge says the MAXXcab is the world's first "passenger priority" pickup (its own Dakota or indeed the Lincoln Blackwood notwithstanding). The MAXXcab has enough electronic equipment inside to double as an office on wheels, while offering a half-ton payload and 52.7-inch long bed. Inside you'll find Chrysler's Infotronic display, the same as in the 300 Hemi C.

I posted this information on here on 1/23/2004... hope this helps this post...

The Concept:
Dodge MaxxCab is a true pickup truck -- but one with cab-forward design and sedan-like ride, handling, space, comfort and luxury. ?Just as cab-forward changed the architecture of our passenger cars, Passenger Priority design might influence an entire vehicle line,? said Tom Gale, Executive Vice President Product Development and Design.

The Specs:
Engine: Next Generation 4.7-liter Magnum V-8, Estimated Power - 238 horsepower, Estimated Torque - 295 lb.-ft.
Transmission: Multi-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission
All-wheel drive or part-time four-wheel drive low
Body & Suspension: Structure Steel body on frame Front Suspension: Independent with torsion bars
Rear Suspension: Custom independent short-and-long-arm (SLA) with coil-over-shock setup
Estimated Performance: 0-60 mph 7.7 sec, top speed 114 mph

The Demensions:
Overall Length: 203?
Overall Width: 80?
Overall Height: 70.6?
Wheelbase: 132.3?
Wheels: 18? x 11? Tires 33 x 11.50R18LT Front/Rear Track: 63?
Ground Clearance: 10.5?
Bed Length: 52.7?
Bed Width: 56.7?
Bed Rail Height: 24?
Weight: 5300 lbs.
Payload: 1,450 lbs.

2000 Dodge MaxxCab Concept: Was a look into the current generation of Ram pickup. The MaxxCab idea was to base a pickup truck around the family, where passengers come first and cargo second! The idea was intorduced because many families buy trucks for everyday use and only use them for hauling cargo, every once in a while.

Well if that's it I'll feel better with the current body style!
I figured it would be a 2500 with about a foot added to the rear cab not a whole new deal![sm=smiley21.gif]

I like it a lot! It's a little low to the ground though.
