Nah, skins, I will install them myself! I Installed the Ultra Vision in my wife's Town&Country tonight, huge difference. I couldn't see the other two until you replied back. I didn't know they were behind the rubber boot thingy. I will do them in the morning with plenty of light. Didn't get an owners manual only the scheduled maintenance booklet and the lemon law pamphlet. Hadn't had time to go by the dealer and ask for one. It was quicker with all your replies anyway. Thanks for the help guys!

Note that behind the rubber flap you will see 3 screws. Do not tamper with the one in the middle. That is the up/down alignment adjustment. It is not a mounting screw.

you don't need to take the headlights off, just reach up and in behind them. it's easier trust me.

White26golf is right. That's how I changed mine out. Just be careful you don't touch or scratch the bulb. Get some disposable latex painter's gloves to protect the bulbs in case you accidentaly touch them. Also, what made my change out easier, was since I had a K&N cai, the inner fender air opening on the passenger side was exposed so all I had to do on that side was reach in, unlatch the electrical connector, turn the bulb housing 1/4 turn clockwise and out. The driver's side, get underneath and reach up, same procedure. Just be real careful you don't damage the SS bulb reinstalling.

Which is why you wait until Wal Mart gets these lights in. Go buy em from them, and if there is any problems with em, aka, you touch the lens and they burn out fast, just return them. They take anything back. Trust me. ;-) ;-)

i could reach behind on the fogs but where did u see a path to reach behind to get to the main headlight? i looked for it but couldnt find a way...maybe the reason i couldnt find it was a combination of limited light (at the time) and my limited height...only 5'4"

I tried the recommended way to change the headlight bulbs which is to pull out the entire housing- good luck! I'm a pretty strong guy but I admit I gave up after about half an hour of tugging after removing the 3 mounting screws each side. I understand the idea of the aligning studs but didn't want to risk breaking anything. It would seperate about 1/2 inch but would not break loose. Then I saw the post from white26golf and had them changed out in 15 minutes. See my post above from 11/5 for passenger side access. I would love to hear from ANYBODY who had no trouble pulling the housing out. And this is the recommended removal procedure in the owner's manual? Idiot Dodge engineers.

I just wrapped a flathead screwdriver up in a towel, and pried it off. Worked fine, with no scratches or anything to the body.

Question of you guys, I haven´t seen hardly any of the Silverstar for Dak´s in stores, so for those of you that installed them, was it a big difference vs stock? If so, do you have the Silververstar XT or just the regular Siverstarś? I am interested in the brightness/visibility increase than the color difference (I actually would prefer a pure white vs some oddball color as me = grumpy old guy and ¨inner-city style¨ on a truck is not my cup of tea.)

Thanks,
John

You can get regular H13/9008 Silverstars but they don''t make Silverstar Ultra brand bulbs in H13 I have looked everywhere for them.  The Ultra''s are the better buy and sometimes advanced auto parts has them on sale in two packs for like $30.00.
