2006 will bring the refreshing of the current DR Dodge Ram platform. However, news across the net has been what Dodge fans have been hoping for since the debut of the 2002 Dodge Ram... a true crew cab model. This past fall, I told you guys and girls here on this website DaimlerChrysler filed for the patient of the name "Mega Cab" here in the U.S., well news has finally broke word of it. It will debut on the 2006 Dodge Ram model lineup only on 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty models... expect it to hit 1500 models a year later. Mega Cab features a Crew Cab configuration with extra room added behind the Crew Cab seats, think of it as a club cab added onto a crew cab model.

Great! And I'd finally set my heart on an 05 Ram 2500. Now I have to wonder what I'll get if I wait till next summer![sm=smiley7.gif]

I would wait till 2006, the Ram will get completely updated w/ new MDS (Multiple Displacement System) 5.7L HEMI "MAGNUM" V-8, optional 6.1L HEMI "MAGNUM" V-8 for 2500 and 3500 models, freshened exterior and interior, and a minor boost of horsepower and torque for the 5.7L HEMI "MAGNUM" V-8. Trust me, it will be wroth the wait!
