Default Black out license plates?

How are people able to black out the license plate on their photos? Do you necessarily need to black them out when they're posted on the internet? I have some kind of paint shop photo album that came with my Dell but I don't know that it has that feature. Thanks.

I usually just select the license plate and distort or erase it. Most people don't want their license plate all over the internet so I suppose thats why. Its not hard to do.

You can use Microsoft Paint, Photoshop, or Paint Shop Pro to edit out the license plates...or you could ask one of us nice people to do it for you in the Chop Shop.

As for should you do it? I would. People can track you down by the license plate alone, and while it's not a big deal, it's worth the extra 30 seconds to do it...

Thanks, I'll read up on how to do and give it a try. I just took some new pictures and thought I'd find out. I store some of them on CarDomain.
