Default luggage rack replacement

The rear luggage rack on my 2000 Durango broke when I loaded it up with a bunch of lumber and I hit a large bump on the road. I haven't priced it at the dealer b/c I feel certain their cost would be ridiculous. Does anyone know of a good website I can go to for a replacement?

Thanks is advance.

If you're looking for a used one than try this. Go to www.car-part.com and search under "roof" for your vehicle. There are some listed as "rack only"...you'll have to go through a number of pages before you get the the "rack only" posts...some were about $125 and lower. you should also be able to get idividual rack parts from the dealer but they may be cheaper online at www.makeitmopar.com look up your truck in the "Body Parts" catalog and you will find rack parts under "Roof".

Thanks Chump. That was a big help because up to now I had not realized the support bracket and cross rail were separate pieces.

Hydrashocker, I think the prices are on a per piece basis. In other words, the $65 would be for just one. I’ll let you know if I find out otherwise.
