Default idle problem

my 1992 stealth R/t twin turbo it will start up sound perfect and idle at 1,500 rpms then once it gets warmed up and i drive it for like 10 min it will start to idle below 500 rpms and some times it will just die can any one tell me why this would be doing that?

It is between 3 and 4 hundred bucks. Very easy to replace. Check the link I provided, it give detailed instructions on how to replace.

This dealer is very reasonable on their prices.

Yeah, after it warmed up the idle would be really low, sometimes stalling, but ran great otherwise. The IAC is easy to test with an volt/ohm meter. There are six connections (two rows of three). The resistance between the center connection and each side should be about 30 ±2 ohms. On mine I had one connection that would not read at all. (I did verify the new one before I installed it.) test both the top and the bottom row.
