Parts and install was $6k. Yes, I could have bought an Eclipse GSX with that money, but if you think about it...it's like buying an Avenger with the 4G63 in it already. Anyway, to each their own. I like the money I spent on my car.
I've spent more than that for the mods, it's definitely not a stock 4G63 anymore.

Default Mods

I started putting my short route fmic today, a little late though and ran out of light so I will have to finish it up tomorrow. So far though the fitment is great. I did have to cut a little bit of the splash guards on either sides of the and the ducting up front for the radiator but that was it. It fit perfect behind the fascia.

The kit is made by ETS. I looked for a month to find the right fmic and piping and found these guys. I initially wanted to do the piping myself but I would have never had the time to do it . The size is, compared to what everyone else gets is small, 30x7x3, not tall but fairly long in length. It filled the opening pretty well IMO. I also didn't have to cut up my fascia or bumper bar. This fmic is also a perfect match for the FPBig28 turbo, it's a tad overkill with a flow capability of 660cfm...I'm not complaining.
More pics of the final product tomorrow.

*edited for having large pics

The first pic is the front removed before modding.

Default RE: Mods

A few more mods coming in.

First one to be installed should be my 60mm throttle body from Steve Monroe.

Then there's a Hyundai valve cover...it's a thicker VC with heavier bolstering. The Hyundai one is on the top. I'm removing the black paint right now so that I can paint it an anodized red. I just have to find the paint...I've seen it done though

Here's a pic of the motor now...not much different really. I just prettied it up a bit in there. The 1G BOV is test painted red and the bottom half just got a nice shiny polish, the red will be stripped and painted black to "hide" it.
