Actually, pulling the fuse still does not entirely get rid of it, it takes it down to about 90% off, there are still some other failsafes buried in the engine management software that will kick in under high-g cornering (read doing donuts, etc.) in order to protect the engine. I triggered it once while doing a donut in my family's 300, it actually kills the engine, my guess is to prevent a huge drop in oil pressure or uneven lubrication that might damage the engine. They should have put a dry sump on it, that would have been sweet.

Hey guys I pulled this off another site see if it helps you I justed copied and pasted ESP Off Update: Since it was raining today I tried something and it worked. Went to a schoolyard (no, nobody around), from a standstill and getting into donut mode, mashed the pedal and around and around you go... where you stop is up to you... NOT HAL. Thought the tires were going to bend off the rims!! The ESP has to be disabled... right? Or this would not happen... right? Would like others input on this as well: I figured out how to make the ESP/BAS trigger chime work. Its the ONLY way to make it work. Now listen carefully. Do you know when you first turn the key... and you hear all the chimes??? This NEEDS to happen. Sometimes the car doesnt do the start-chime sequence (about 6 or 7 chimes to be exact), I'm not sure for the reason it doesnt do it all the time, but in this "freak-mod" it NEEDS to happen. Ok... well here is what you do... and it will work just about every time. 1 - Seatbelt on. 2 - Emg brake off. (The above two steps is what may cause a trigger. Check for anything else that may cause a trigger and correct it before going on.) 3 - Put key in... turn to on... DO NOT START CAR Listen for startup chime sequence (if this doesnt happen, it will NOT work). 4 - As sequence chimes are singing, press and hold the ESP button and listen for the final chime as before, then let go of the button. 5 - Start car, DO NOT RECYCLE THE KEY, just start car. There will be one more chime that you hear after starting. THATS THE TRIGGER CHIME FOR ESP/BAS. 6 - Check your EVIC and you should see this: 7 - Put car in drive... then come back home and report in!!!!
