Hey everybody im new here.i got a 91 dakota 4x4 5.2L longbed and it runs great for a 91 .ive done the routine maintenance on it as soon as i had the title and it runns even better.its got 185000miles on it and as far as i know the same motor and tranny.i was just wondering about the OD button.how do you know when its on,off or disconnected.mine is off when you drive it but ive pushed it a couple times and nothing happened.

When the light is on the OD is off, if nothing happens then then its either disconected, wiring problem, or just slam burnt up. Could be something else but those seem to be the common problems,
