Hello, everyone!
Yesterday, my 94' Eagle Vision (Concord, LHS) has broke down. Total loss of power, missfiring... PCM error code reads: Code 43 "Peak primary circuit current not achieved with the maximum dwell time".
Does enyone had the same problem before? How big is the possibility that PCM itself is malfunctioning or the coil pack can cause that problem?

I've spoken to the Chrysler dealership technician about this problem. His opinion is that spark plugs or spark plug wires can cause the problem. I have purchased the coil pack and new spark plugs.
Temporary replasing the coil pack with the new one did not fixed the problem. I have also replased each spurk plug wire with the another one - no result also. Just in case have temporary replased cranshaft and camshaft sensors....no luck.
It looks like ECU has been fried.....too bad [&o]
I do once in a while, but I'm not very knowledgable about the cars for this part. I have a good bit of automotive knowledge in general, but a problem with something this specific on a car I'm not very familiar with, I wouldn't be much help. Sorry.[sm=smiley13.gif]

Updates.
After two days of diagnosis in Chrysler Dealership service senter the problem is still unknown. The technician says that it's NOT an PCM. [:@]
Do we really have to pay $100/hour for their service???
We are 127/hr and if you didn't need us you would be fixing it yourself instead of it sitting in somebody elses shop. Its not as easy as you think, the fancy computers don't just tell us what broke so we just change out the part, it is not uncommon for a car to take week to find the problem. Funny folks don't mind when it takes the doctor 3 or 4 visits to get something figured out, and you can tell them what is wrong, cars don't talk.

But I would like to speak to dodgemech's comment :
At $127/hr, one 8 hour day's worth of your work equals 2 weeks worth of pay for me. If you look at it like that I think you can understand our shock at the cost. You are right, it is not easy, and we do need you because of your expertise. I would love to learn how everything works in my car and how to fix it, but I have to go to work and earn enough money to pay for the one day my car was in your shop. Not to mention the 5 years of debt I entered to buy it in the first place.
I started having the EXACT same problem a few days ago. Except, my car one day just died on the way to work, then restarted and all was well. Three days later, it died in the driveway and would not start. I was getting code 54. So I changed the crank sensor, did nothing. Changed the cam sensor and took the coil pack off to check connection, put it back on, car fired right up (so I figured it was the cam sensor) and ran great. That was yesterday.
Today, on my way to work (highway about 1 hour), after it warmed up nice, it started to missfire and jerk, and then the check engine light would start flashing. Now, I am getting code 43 and code 54 (mind you, I never reset the codes when I was done yesterday, so 54 might be old). I made it home, but the car hardly runs. So gonna let it cool down and try.
Also, I have a set of wires and plugs, gonna change them too and see if it makes a difference. I need to solve this problem ASAP so I can get to/from work. Any help would be great. Thanks a lot!
Did you find out the cause of your problem? Tonight I got the dreaded code 43 as well on my 1996 Breeze and I'm hoping to benefit from your experience.
