Ive always wanted to do a RWD daytona... Lack of time and funds, it is not going to happen in the near future(Im in college...

If anyone needs a motor for their conversion... I have a '73 318 for sale, I just posted it in the parts section

My dream was to put the 318 in it and twin turbo the sucker.... I guess it will have to wait, when/if I have the time to do it, it will be m favorite car ever

Exline, any info u could supply me would be extremley helpfull. I am going to convert my sons to RWD. Some sort of bluprints or plans for the frame and motor cradle would be purrrfect. Thanks,

Hello great site ive owned 6 or 7 turbo cars 5 were daytonas but my favorite one is my v8 project !Yes Exline there are more of us crazy peeps out here!LOL Your not alone. Mine is a 1984 turbo z with a warmed over 360,904 auto with 3500 stall and manual valve body,B body 8 3/4 with 323 sure grip. Chrysler v8 k member kit ive tied my front frame to the custom rear frame,mine is leaf spring rear though.I started this project in 1995 ive done every thing my self exept the purchase of the k member kit,

Sorry i dont have any pics , i dont think i ever took any. I am moving it to a diferent shop soon ill take some pics then. The leaf springs are from a AMC spirit. It was those or pinto springs

Nice clip!I built mine for burnout contests. I also have a 355 set up for mine running 245 50 16 on the rear . Im thinking of yanking out the springs and running a cal tracs set up in it its a bolt in deal .
