Sorry guys... MPH Magazine wrote and asked us to remove it. :( I'm working on trying to get permission to show it. :)

That's dissapointing, I don't understand why they wouldn't want us to be advertising their magazine. It was a great sneek peak, so I hope they let us.

The Magazine's reply:

quote:

Amanda,
Thanks so much for your help. it has been an epic few days of hunting these down and getting them removed. You can run the cover after the issue is actually on stands (it hasn't even been pressed yet!) in (date kept secret so we can be the first to debut it). this was an early version that was leaked. The problem lies in DCX's embargo date and we said we'd abide by it.
Again we really appreciate you taking it down.

I HAVE worked something out with him for when it's allowed to be shown... keep an eye out!! :)

If you read what they sent to Amanda, the problem isn't with MPH.... it's DCX that is calling the shots and doesn't want anything leaked early. Probably don't want to spoil the big unveiling at NAIAS.

Hey guys,
Thanks for your enthusiasm for our cover. Sorry for all the problems. To make it up to you check out these spy photos of the new Chrsyler Aspen, their version of the Durango (these just went up)
http://www.mph-online.com/web/spyphotos/0028

we also named a Dodge product to our top ten cars of the year:

And if you haven't seen our Charger SRT-8 wallpaper definitely check it out.

Hopefully that will keep you busy until we get the cover back online ;)

Thanks again for understanding.

From my sources, it was via an email to their Virtual Reader Panel...

Great information and pics Dave, thanks! The Aspen looks like it may be a hit, especially with the Bently style aftermarket grille to put on it. I'm assuming that this is the 7 passanger SUV rumor that's been going around? I have a feeling that Chrysler will offer the third row instead of making it standard though.

I would think 3rd row would be standard for the chrysler. Supposedly this is what everyone wants these days. Although I don't get it. If I need all those seats I'd get a minivan or pacifica.
