I think they can do it 28k. The manual trans is going to save 1 or 2 grand, make leather and luxery items an option plus minus 2 door and all the stuff that goes with it and that can cut the cost alot.

I think that'll be a base price, and like 2coff said, make the leather and all the other crap an option.

Honestly, I think it will be more like $33,000....

now with that picture you can really tell the difference in sheetmetal between the new and old one. this picture looks a lot more like a "modern" interpretation than those two far away pics. i still kinda think those far away pics are photoshops, and kinda hope so too. this magazine cover definatly sells me tho, when does it hit the stands???? i still dont want my hopes up tho, because chrysler has taught me not to believe ANYTHING until its sitting on the dealership parking lots. my fingers are crossed.

I kind of doubt we'll see $28k for 425hp, sounds more like they are giving the price for the R/T model with the 5.7, i'd expect more in the $33-34k (+$2k gas guzzler tax) range for the SRT-8, $28k would definatly be nice for the SRT, I just don't see them selling it for that cheap.

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't think there is any way that that price would be for the 6.1...
