I have a 91 daytona w/ 2.5L turbo. I am removing the balancing shaft assembly...but next to the water pump by one of the bolt holes, there is a small hole... what is this? and do i need to worry about it??

Thanks

If the hole you're talking about it right next to the main bearing cap on the block web, YES you need to worry about it. It supplied the balance shaft assy with oil and it will need to be closed off since it goes directly into the main oil galley. If you do not block it off, you will have ZERO oil pressure and damage the engine....
