what kind of fuel mileage improvement can realistically be expected from putting one of these on a 2002 Ram Quad cab 4x4 with the 5.9? I'm currently getting about 12-13mpg. I am not particularly concerned about any performance gains, but I'd rather have some fuel economy improvements.
Your not gonna get any milage gains, maybe a little. And if you like the sound, your gonna be on the gas more and get less milage.

You will notice a gain in fuel mileage, usually 1-5 MPG depending on the application. On my SRT-4 it wasn't any gain since I could now hear the turbo, well, which resulted in my heavier use of the gas pedal to hear the beautiful sounds of the turbo. With a V8 it will give it that deep 4 bbl sound at WOT which is also very addictive.

It's kinda like buying "crack" for your vehicle. You think it's going to get better because it "feels" better, but it only gets worse....
