Default rpm's at idle

hi, i was just wondering if anyone know what rpm my truck is supposed to run at when idleing. It is usually at 600-700 and that seems a bit low. If you know could you let me know what yours runs at. Thanks.

ok, mine is the 3.9. But is seems to be a bit rough at idle. Maybe just because it is starting to get cold out. But thanks for the replies.

If its starting to run a little rough you could get a tune up. That should help it out.

I'm wondering if that is the normal 3.9L idle. I thought mine was a litlte rough, so I installed new distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs and plug wires last week (in addition to a new air filter a few days prior to that). It smoothed it out a little, but it still feels a little rough. I dunno if that's normal or if the timing needs to be adjusted.

ya maybe it is because i just installed new plugs and a new air filterlast week and it helped a bit but it still seems to be a bit rough.
