Default 1970 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 Convertible:

Thats right, you aren't seeing wrong... Chrysler Group's ShunkWerks has come up with a new SRT-8 model for the Dodge lineup. With the rumors that we will be seeing a new Challenger Concept vehicle at Detroit in Janurary, Dodge is showing this concept off at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. It is powered by non-other than the 6.1L HEMI V-8. However, radical messures have been called upon, and the 6.1L has been bumped up to an awesome 392CI 500 horsepower HEMI V-8. Thats right, 392CI! A new generation 392 HEMI? Better believe it.

That is one awesome car. They need to put that engine in the SRT line up i think. I highly doubt they would though.

I saw the 392 somewhere, I forgot where. But that thing is sharp!

I'd love to have the whole car itself! Screw what the possible retro challenger may look like in the next couple of years!

tht is soo cool that they might bring back the challenger but the thing that i worried about is the fact that the changed the look of the charger and they would do it to the challenger.. if i had to choose between the one shown and the new one tht might come out.. i take the older one in a heart beat.. its meaner and nicer looking! tht is what i think!
