I hate to break this to you, but the 3.0L V6's are well known for oil leaks, if it doesn't now then it will soon. They mostly leak at the valve covers which isn't hard to fix. I have had 2 Shelby Z's with the 2.2L Turbo II.

The engine was just rebuilt, so it no longer has the oil problem, We redid all the internals with new rings..etc.

Runs smooth and no smoke at all

Great, I'm really glad to hear that.[sm=smiley20.gif]It should make for a good reliable engine then.

As well it should be. I sunk tons of money into my Shelby Z, but I still hated to let it go.[sm=smiley19.gif] I loved that car.

I love my daytona.. I hav always liked them since i FORST saw them on off all shows.. HUNTER!!! heheh His partner drives a red one/ maroon one.....but i have owned 5 hondas and 2 mazdas..this is my FIRST doemstic and its been very fun so far...

I must admit, its not as good in handling as my modded Accord nor civic..but there is just somehting about the LOW END torque you JUST cant get out of an Import under $30000

DAMN, i juts bought some stock suspension shock and struts....

For Shelby conversion..what do i need? Lorco and canadian tire did not have a specific replacement part for that model. They only list 4cyl and 6cyl.

I am just guessing, Shocks, Strust, Springs...but will i need other things like antiroll bar..etc?

Hmm I wonder if they make a front and rear upeer tower Strut Bar to make the chassy stronger?
