Looks like with these #'s we should be able to get someone to start making some parts for these cars!Some one get rich in a hurry if they would invest some time & $. Gotta 90 Daytona Shelby just droped rebuilt motor in it. 2.5 turbo, 2 1/2 in catback exhaust,catback catalytic verter, K&N air filter. Front end all new, brakes, tranny, new paint job,interior,CS wheels, red with dark black tint & gray lettering. Gonna have modifications done to motor at FWD performance over summer. Cam, new tirbo, intercooler,injectors,intake & exhaust manifolds, rods & pistons.Then let the rice burners look. 90Shelby (in reply to khronman420) Post #: 166

My name is Justin.  89 Daytona ES 2.5 Turbo I here(199k miles on it).  My beloved car is in the front yard with the crank broke in half and chewed up mitsu. turbo.  I'm in N Georgia.  If any one has one of these engines with turbo PLEASE let me know if you want to sell it or trade for wrecked B350 Ram van(360ci quad-jet that runs well, good tranie, no rear axle).  I miss driving my car.  It sat about a year before i got the rebuilt tranie and new clutch for it.  It only lasted about a month before it lost oil pressure and died again.  It has sat for 2 more yrs now.  Just washed it yesterday. < Message edited by jblwired -- 1/23/2007 1:14:33 AM > _____________________________ 89 Daytona ES 2.5 Turbo I, soon to be hybrid 16v Turbo III (I know i'm a faker but a DOHC Neon head is cheaper than the Lotus head). Its one of 50 in white with a factory sun roof, and is also a PVP Pilot Car. She is currently in the process of a pretty strong rebuld. It's black with leather interior, electronic navigator, sunroof......etc. fully loaded with only 93,000 miles on it. (3.0 5 speed ` pics to follow soon.) I bought it brand new off the lot in the winter of 92. It was the only one they had at the dealer. Originally wanted a black one, they searched as far as Texas but couldn't locate one. I also owned a 85 Chrysler Laser Turbo. Don't know how the rest of you Daytona owners feel but I am tired of being told that the all Dodge cars don't hold their resell value like the Honda Civic. No offense to any Honda owners (I'm sure they are wonderful cars) but when I die I want to look back and remember how much fun it was to own and drive an exciting vehicle like the Daytona.
