I have been reading these boards about 6 months while I was contemplating buying a MagnumAWD RT this is my 1st post and this site is cool. At this point Im glad I couldn't or was unsure to pull the trigger on the magnum because I decided to go with a Silver ChargerRt with the Road and Track performance option,Performance seats and the GT package. When I went to order it this week my dealer said I will also be waiting as long for this car as I would be for the SRT, go figure but wich I have no problem with because I'm from NY so getting it with half the winter over is ok with me.
My 2 questions are:

1-does anyone have a pic of a charger or seen one with the GT package yet because even my dealer couldn't tell me what the front grill looks like (Daytona style with a GT emblym) or is it something else, basically what I am ordering is an DaytonaRT less colors and it doesnt show the front end in any build pic at the dodge site?

2nd- am I getting 10 more horse power with the road and track option my dealer also is clueless to this and when I build it online it doesnt state that I am?

yes road and track gives you another 10 hp. the exhaust is less restricted. i don't know about the other, i didn't even know there was a GT package. if you mean R/T package it includes: 18" x 7.5" Aluminum Wheels w/Black Painted Accents
Air Conditioning with Dual Zone Auto Temp Control
Automatic Headlamps
Heated Front Seats
High-Speed Engine Controller
Load Leveling and Height Control
P235/55R18 BSW All Season Performance Tires
Perf. Seats w/Preferred Suede & Accent Stitching
Performance Steering
Performance Suspension
Power Adjustable Pedals
Power Front Seats
One-Touch Power Front Windows with Express Up/Down

that means i think only new wheels on exterior. a lot of mechanical upgrades. and a few interior upgrades like the daytona seats.

Thx for answearing about Hrspower.

The GT package $1,259.00 has only been available in the last 3 weeks it is in addition to Road and Track package
it consists of:
Mopar exhuast with chrome tips
Grilles and front end appliques-----this is what I cant find info on
Rear facia accent panels
Rear spoiler--------------------------same as SRT
Chrome plated wheels

If you go to dodge site and build an RT the last options section is were you will see GT package

Hello CTG!

I would recommend getting a Charger brochure. On the second last page there's a nice shot of the Charger with the GT Sport Package. The GT Sport Package has a hexagon grill insert, the grill is going to look similar to the Charger Daytona's grill. If you don't have a Charger brochure and would like me to send you one you can either send me an email or Private Message with your mailing address.

Thanks,

John B.

Have a silly question but how does the auto headlamps work? Have a Daytona and it is supposed to be standard on these. I have looked in and out of the owners manual and have sent a question to the dealership.

Thanks

Jim
