And as for the highest trip computer mileage reading i have had mine maxed at 99.9 mpg. The way I did it was find that same hill and put the tranny in neutral. It was about 100km/h average or 60mph with some moderate inclines/declines. The truck averaged 20.4mpg over this 40km (25 mi.)stretch with normal air conditioning on (not max). It is a '98 5.2L extended cab 4x4 (30k miles!) with tonneau cover, full tank of gas, about 100 lbs of pallets in the back, new NGK FR5-1 plugs, new Fram air filter, new Amsoil synthetic ATF and Castrol 5w-30 engine oil. Otherwise totally stock. I though that was decent considering the factory claimed 12mpg city, 17mpg highway. By the way, the factory Champion plugs still looked new. Without the trailer I average about 16 city, 21 highway. With the trailer I see about 11 city, 15 highway. My truck is a 2000 CC, 4.7, auto and 3.55 gear. The trailer is a 6x12 double axle enclosed.
