Hey everybody,
I have a 99 Dakota R/T with a club cab that I am trying to sell. I haven't advertised much, but I'm wondering if my asking price is too high. The truck has 85k miles on it and is still in good condition inside and out. It is fully loaded and the only mod is a california concepts installed flowmaster dual exhaust. I have been asking $10500 to $11000 and haven't seen much interest. Just want to know what everybody thinks... am I trying to get too much for it? (fyi - the truck is in CA).
Thanks, Travis

RE: Reasonable asking price??
I'd check the Kelley Blue Book value...they have several free sites on the internet that will give the current retail and wholesale value...

Thanks for the reply. I checked the blue-book value about a month ago and I think it was somewhere around $10k. I'm just looking for opinions and/or experience with selling an R/T like mine.
Thanks, Travis
Good luck getting that. I don't think you will. KBB is not a realiable source, as not many dealers use it. I'd say you'll have a better shot asking $8,500 - $9,000 for it.
