I just bought myself a 2003 Dodge Dakota R/T Black with only 16,000 Miles on her....i love this truck allready even though it loves the gas. I have the crome rims on her and who ever owned it before took really good care oif it. I has been completly debadged except for the R/T Badge on the back. I want to get crome R/T badges with the 5.9 V8 Emblems. Can anyone help me find these badges, I have been everywhere that i know of soo far and no luck.. Thanks

The chrome "5.9 R/T" badges were produced for the Durango R/T's doors, you can buy them from any Daimler-Chrysler dealership or distributor. The MSRP on one badge is about $51, although you can buy them as low as $28 or so from places like www.southeastperformance.com or www.moparsupercenter.com.
The Chrome badges were a "first of the line" for the particular year in which the vehicle was made. Only the 1st 500 R/Ts off the line had them and to buy them from a dealership you have to have a title and VIN number to order them. I found this out when I got backed into and the jackass tore off the R/T badge on my driver side and I went to replace it. The chrome looks really nice however they will start to flake if you don't take reall, REALLY good care of them.

i have the V8 magnum badges on my truck but i would like to get rid of them, anyone interested know how to take them off?
The front fender badges of the 97-00 trucks have two prongs on the back that fit into holes in the fender for alignment/mounting purposes. You can remove the badge by prying it off but you will need to come up with a way to fill/cover the holes.
