Default sun roof help

does anyone know if the sunroof is supposed to be removable on the 1987 Daytona Shelby Z???

the only way i take it out is to take the 2 screws out from the headkiner dide, and keep the hole lever on the window...i dont think this is supposed to be the way though!!!

Default RE: sun roof help

It should come out. I believe that your Daytona has the same latch that my 87 Shadow does. There are two tabs on the back of the latch that will push in to release the glass from the latch. It's sorta hard to see, but if you take a good look at it you'll see what I mean.
