I need to replace my fuel pump in my 96 3.9. I am looking at a WALBRO 255LPH electric fule pump and need to know if this is a good one or not. It may be more than I need. I do not race my truck, except when I am running late...
Those with experience, drop me a line.
Thanks

You will have to remove you pump assembly to see if This pump will fit in to the fuel sender and pump assemble. This is the most important thing because the regulator is built in to it
I already know this pump will fit but I need to know the difference it make compared to the OEM pump...
I am sure there is somoeone out there that has put this EXACT fuel pump in their truck. Please reply me some info...
Well what is the flow capicity of it? cause you dont want it pumping in more than the truck can handle. Unless you have some add ons to the engine you would want the stock flow capcity. Cause you dont want it puttin to much fuel in there. So just find out the flow capcity.
You can't pump to much fuel into the motor if the pressure regulator is working. The regulator dumps the extra fuel back in the tank. But part of the job of the fuel is to keep the pump cool spinning at 4K-5K. Thats why its not a good idea to run the tank below 1/4.
