Default fart cans

we finally got the exhaust done today. it's insane how quiet the car is now. i can actually think when i'm driving again!!! yeah!!!! here's some pics and a short video of it. yes, yes, i know they're big fart cans and not everyone will like it. that's ok with me, i'm happy with it and that's all that matters!

this is a modified maxx fab single tip 3" exhaust going into two apexi n1 black chrome turbo mufflers.

I like it. I have a modified borla to a single tip magnaflow. It is nice to be able to think while you are driving. I have a few rattles that I didn't know about.

Nice color choice. Black on red looks good!

Short exhaust video

Here's a video we shot. It didn't come out very well and sounds 100x better in person.

Are the cans on the back the only mufflers? What previous system was louder than this?
It looks good. Would like to hear it.

BTW, video clip in the post above you.

we had the maxxfab dp/mopar borla combo before this 3 inch to 2 1/2. And it was loud bordering on annoying. We enjoyed the exhuast for a while, but it just got tiring. The drone made long trips unbearable, and the neighborhood is very quiet, so it attracted too much attention (cops).

Now the car idles and cruises quietly, no drone, and most of the pops and bangs are gone, or at least muffled by comparison. It's still loud at wot, but there is only so much muffling can be done when you are shoving 20+ psi through it.

So we got a power gain from being full 3 inch, and yet it's so much more tolerable.

I think they look awesome. Did it really quiet the car down alot? Is it quieter than stock?

Who fabricated that "Y" split after the rear suspension?

Nice job. Remember this, fart can are only fart cans if your car is slow.

Yeah I started to download it w/ my old fashioned dial up. I didn't have the 40 minutes it was gonna take to complete the download so I cancelled it.
The system looks good though and I would still like to hear it or one like it. Maybe when I've got a lot of time to kill.......

The car is alot quieter. quieter than a stock srt at idle.

Everything past the rear suspension was hand done by my local place, westchester performance muffler. He is crazy as ****, but he does awesome exhausts.

Very true, and we'll test that this friday at the track, lol

Apparently fiberglass packed mufflers need a few heat cycles to break in, and then they get deeper and quieter. So I think judgement should be held until they break in and we find out how they will sound permanently
