I have the 2.5 and it sucks... no power... I am wanting to put like a 16 valve dohc, but would a 32v fit... I also was thinking I own a 72 amc hornet... would an inline six go in pretty easy and the main question, how do I make it RWD

Your best route would be to find a 2.2L Turbo III, it's the DOHC 2.2L found in the Daytona Iroc R/T's and the Spirit R/T's, they are very rare and powerful. Your easiest solution would be a 2.2L Turbo II swap. The best possible way to go is getting the Mopar Performance RWD conversion (it has been discontinued for some time now, good luck finding one), and putting the 380 horsepower Mopar Performance 360 crate engine in it, now that would be awesome. Your best bet is to either find the RWD conversion somewhere or take it to a professional race shop and have them do a custom conversion. I don't see an inline six cylinder fitting in it without moving the firewall and interior back or moving the radiator forward somehow.
What 32 valve DOHC Eagle? As far as I know they have never had a 32 valve (=V8) DOHC in any Eagle product, but I think the first Eagle products from the early or mid '80's did come with V8's and were RWD. These would be just as hard to get into a Daytona as a 360 or any other V8.
I was talking to a friend who has an eagle talon and said it wasa 32v dohc I have seen a 32v dohc in a junk yard but I dont remmeber out of what, but it was a newer car
y not just turbo it and be done with it alot easier to put a turbo motor out of another daytona around the same year as yours than it would be to put in that motor . good luck on a t3 motor lol hard to find well i know where there at but u will pay about 1000$ for just the head then u need the pistons to go with it . or u could take a 2.5 block and use a neon dohc head on it with a holset turbooff a deisal truck . thats alot of work to tho . id just find a t1 motor from around your year of your car and the engine wiring harness and convert it oh check out ebay , there is a few rwd daytona on there every once in a while .most are tubed lol put a 360 in a omni that would be cool lol
all sounds to much and I have never done nething like that so how would I get about learning all that...
the bigger engine, with rwd is easier to drive as far as I am concerned, plus I would rather not get into to much electrical, my friend says cops are about to get this gun that can like fry a computer chip and kill the car, I want like some muscle that can run , and cant be touched then put all that extra in it... fine with me!!!
sell that car and look for a 89 shelby daytona . already has the t2 motor and the 555 trans u can find them on turbododge for around 1500 for a nice to start with but ive seen them go for less . thats what i would do . gonna spend about 750 for the motor and othe stuff to convert your and u still have to do it . when u could spend a lil more i it would be done already . i had a 89 shelby tona and i loved that car . i was road racing my buddy in his gmc typhon ,i couldnt pass him but he couldnt get me off his tail never left more than 2 cars from him bumper till i hit 3rd insted of 5th at about 85 mph lol . u can throw a grainger valve on and up the boost to 14psi safely .
its better to start with a turbo car than convert a n/a car to turbo . it wouldnt be bad if u had a 90s turbo doner car to convert yours to turbo .
I hate to say this, but your friend with the Talon is a moron or trying to BS you, there is no such thing as a 32 valve anything in a Talon. The best they ever had was a 16 valve 2.0L DOHC turbo. The most valves per cylinder in any car is 5, there isn't anymore room or benefit in having more. The most in the Talon is 4 valves per cylinder and with 4 cylinders that comes out to be 16 valves. The only 32 valve engines are V8's that have 4 valves per cylinder.
You would be better off getting an older Shelby or Shelby Z Daytona with the 2.2L Turbo II. If you want to keep your newer Daytona then it would be best to swap the drivetrain and all the electrical from the Turbo II. The only other easy choice would be to get a 3.0L V6 from another Daytona and rebuild it or have it rebuilt nice and strong with high compression, because the stock 3.0L is no better than the 2.5L you already have when it comes to power vs. weight.
