Default Brighter headlamps for '96 Intrepid??

The headlights on our '96 Intrepid have never been bright ...and now, the plastic lenses are aging and getting foggy. We'd like to put brighter higher quality headlamps into the car ...something like the new projector style or Euro headlamps with crystal clear lenses, plus maybe some higher wattage bulbs too. Can anyone suggest where we might find headlamp assemblies like these? Quality is important ...I've had bad luck with bum lights from cheap outfits in the past, and would also like to know how the quality is on the headlight assemblies that you recommend (if possible).

Thanks a mil!

Brian

i would suggest silverstar bulbs to replace the current halogen ones. it isn't a new assembly, just a replacement bulb. silverstar is high quality, not like the cheap crap i screwed myself with from walmart.

here is a link, go ahead and look into it.

Thanks. I think we'll try those Sylvania Silverstars. The lenses on the headlamp assemblies are still very crazed and foggy though, so we need new headlamp assemblies AND bulbd. Does anybody know if these headlamp assemblies are any good:

The silverstars work great, huge improvement in my wifes 96 intrepid, I just polished up the lenses with cleaner wax and a little elbow grease.

I bought a pair of them blue lightbulbs from EBAY not a very good idea, they didnt last long and there not as bright as the siverstars..I too purchased the siverstars and WOW is all i can say.I t does help too to have the headlamps replaced and adjusted properly to the road..I read in a 2nd generation dodge ram forum sction on how to clear up the foggy lens problems. If you go to that section there are alot of good ideas on how to get your lenses clearer..This was done to my 94 eagle vision not my 01 ram..

thanks
