Default D Aftermarket Headlights

Anyone know of a vendor selling nice aftermarket headlights for the 2nd gen D's? I love the truck except for the bug eyed look. Thx

Hello philg,

I am getting an H13 Bi-Xenon HID kits from http://www.brightheadlights-hid.com/hid-lights.htm

Bruce Chandler is bringing in these new HID kits from the Orient and these should be the first of its kind to land into North America. I just posted an image of the bulb so that you guys can see it for yourself.
The color temperature is 4300K. I have also looked into getting my OEM headlights retrofitted with 90mm HELLA Bi-Xenon projectors but am undecided at this stage because of the unknown factors involved with the retrofitting outfit.

I have ordered my Bi-Xenon kit from Bruce Chandler. Check his website out and call him, he is legit.

I hope this helps,

Later!

Of alot of HID look bulbs that I have tried, the silverstar is the best. The other bulbs does give off a better color than the silverstars, but at a big sacrifice on lumination. I thought it was me at first. I thought the lights burned out or something. But only after I decide to put the silverstars back in, Whoa, luminence on silverstars is hundreds times brighter and still have that white light.

If you want a quality (not just sticking a "universal HID" kit) in the stock housings and getting tons of glare, check out this website:HidTech Look on their projects page to see samples of thier work. They have a few Rams and Stratus conversions, so they have experience with Dodge. They use the OEM/factory quality HID components that the Japanese and German luxury cars use, not no-name, good luck getting replacement parts-universal kits. Apparently that page has exceeded its bandwidth.

Just find out what type of bulbs you have on your 04 and cross reference them to get the silverstars. The number for the 1st generation durangos are the H007 bulbs.

You will love the silverstars. Only bulbs made in the U.S. and not overseas.

Actually the 2004 Durango uses the infamous H13 like mine and currently there are no Silverstars replacements. The only Halognes replacements out there are from NOKYA and LUKS.

However, I am waiting for my Bi-Xenon HID kit with 4 ballasts and 4 igniters of the 6000K wihch is a true HID kit and not just halogen bulbs from a great supplier in NC. Go to www.brightheadlights-hid.com and ask for Bruce.

You can see the image I posted of my front-end with the Xenarc X1010 welded onto the OEM Tow hooks. Great mounting brackets and functional still.

If you can handle the price, it is the only true HID Bi-Xenon kit available out there. There are about 14 kits left as I have ordered the first one.

I will post the picture of my truck once it has been installed.
