Will a 99 Neon ATX Tranny work on a 97 Intrepid? If not what donors will work? By the way Intrepid is a 3.5L.

i doubt it would work because the 99 neon has a 3 speed ATX w/o OD, and the 97 intrepid had a 4 speed ATX with OD. i don't see how that could work. i would look for a
93-97 eagle vision with the 4 speed ATX with OD
93-97 chrysler Concorde with the 4 speed ATX with OD
93-97 dodge intrepid with the 4 speed ATX with OD

the reason i listed those models are because they are all first generation LH cars. they are all basically the same car with slightly different bodies and options. i would verify all this with someone else before buying something, but from my knowledge that is what i know.

That is what I figured, I have a chance to buy 97 intrepid with 3.5 that needs tranny, get this for $400. I'm trying to find someone willing to swap 99 Neon ATx for one that will work.

As far as i know the 93-97 concordes, intrepids, and eagle visions will interchange and perhaps the chrysler LHS`s i dont think the tranny you are asking will fit but i may be wrong.
thanks

the neon trans will not work due to being a transversle mounted motor. as were the intrepid motor is mounted like a rear wheel drive vechile.
