Default Jeep Cherokee- Engine Swap

Im looking for information on droping a 350 into my 1984 Jeep Cherokee.
The original engine blew up so i installed a 2.8L Camaro engine in and its just too weak, so i think a 350 would fix my problem here .
So if anyone has info OR had done this help me out please?

Well, So far i have searched all that i know and come up with nothing.
First i need to know if a company makes the mounting brackets.
Then find the shortest avail intake(easy) and a 4bbl carb that will all fit
under the hood with an air cleaner. Also i need a tranny that works with 4wd and can bolt into the same general area as the old tranny.(without having to chop cut and weld a new floor and fire wall.)
Any info is great, THX

I dont know how similar the cherokees and cj-7s are when it comes to transmissions and stuff like where they are located and stuff but we have a 350 turbo in out 86 cj-7 and it has plenty of clearnce around it. I'm not sure who did our engine mounts but i could find out by like saterday and let you know. You can take a look at out jeep at this site right here.

Thats the way to go.
