Default Killer Gas

Is anyone else annoyed at the price of gas. Today the cheapest I could find in about a 6 city span (I drive an ambulance for a living) for 87 was 2.70 a gallon! c'mon!!! this is getting out of control, their saying by this time next year we'll be at 3.00 a gallon. I refuse to give up my 12 city and 18 highway V8 but this is getting ridiculious out there. What's everyones take, are u guys gonna by beaters just to be an everyday car...considering selling ur truck?

I agree. This is ridiculous. Me and the gf were out today and when I saw the 92 was $2.75 I almost had a brick in my shorts. [:@] I'm mean are you kidding me?! I still say we carpet bomb the middle east turn the sand into glass and then we'll be able to see where the oil is. Then in a couple of years when I have my first born I won't have to give him or her up for gas. [&:] Its a joke people. I wouldn't really do that. Maybe my second born. LOL.

You should try running one over here. Current price for a US gallon works out to exactly $6! The only conserlation is that our Regular is 95 whilst Super is 97. Should help when I get round to getting a engine re-programer! Enjoy it whilst it lasts, regards from across the pond.

well I filled up today. It was 2.55 for 87, the gas warning light came on right before I filled up, so it was just about bone dry, cost 38.88 to fill er' up. Not too bad, but still. I love my truck and I hope at some point we can get back down to a resonable amount to pay for gas...nuke iraq, get a huge straw and suck some of that beautiful black lake of oil over here.

Ya the other day mine was completely out. It cost me $43.83 to fill up my tank. And up here in chicago 91 is going for $2.95 a gallon. Its getting pretty rediculous. I get about 16 miles to the gallon in the city, so i dont know if im going to keep shelling out, or go get a damn import.

But Dak, how much of that costs is taxes? Back when I was in Australia I remember paying AU$0.65/litre. Now I hear its AU$1.14/litre. This is a 15 yr difference no less. But since I've moved to the states in 90 it was just under $1/gal and now its $2.59/gal for 87 octane.

BTW thats why I ride a bike that gets 35-45mpg and leave the truck parked.

I wont sell my truck, the penalty fee's alone tacked onto the sticker of another car after I JUST got my 04 Dak...no way I'd rather pay more at the pump and less interest on a whole new financed vehcile. Next year I am kicking around getting a nice lil crotch rocket sport bike of some kind...Honda 600RR sounds good, 250 miles to a tank, tank costs maybe 10 to fill or get damn close, just gotta watch those rainy summer nights, but I fig i can get my bike into the truck, let the truck rest all summer besides some occassions, then let the bike rest all winter....either way, chicks wanan do me, lol im jk

Up here in Canada it's 101.6 a litre. To know how much that is per gallon, multiply that by 4.54= $4.61 a gallon.
