Default new truck problems

I bought my first dodge a week ago and i love it but things arnt goin so well ive had the truck for 9 days and ive only had it at home for two of them. water leak on pass side front floor coming from blower , pas front window wont go up bed is mounted 2in off center, floor molding not installed correctly and today took a trip on the freeway and it shimmys and shakes above 60mph


just me or is this what i can expect from this truck, dealer dosent seem to concerned!!

I'd take it back and claim it's a lemon. There's no way a new truck should have any problems period. Sorry to hear it's your first Dodge though.

I agree. Take it back. I bought mine 5 weeks ago and it is perfect. It's my 3rd Dakota. The first two were great trucks also. The first Dakota was a '95 and it was my first Chrysler product. We just got a 2000 Sebring for the wife last year and that is one sweet vehicle.

I hate to see you get off on such bad footing with Mopar because of one bad vehicle.

just got done at dealer they are gonna keep it for a couple of days and make sure it is perfect and give me 500 dollars of my down payment back (not to shabby) this dealer is realy good they have had me in a loaner since the first time and a truck not a compact!! it is not there fault i dont blame them ,but dodge should check on some quality issues from the factory because it is gonna hurt the dealer more than them ok ill keep you posted

What did they find on the passenger window? Mine was doing samething, dealer put new regulator in it but it still goes up real slow and all they try now is lubing the track

dont know what they did to window yet i will be picking it up tonight or tommorow morning it is in the body shop having the bed lined up with the cab. they did tell me they got the shimmy shake gon though they replaced all 4 tires . ive ben hearing of others with the same problem wonder if they had a bad batch of tires but my truck was built 10/04 and sold to me two weeks ago dont know if it just sat two long in one spot

ill let you know about the window when i get it back!
