By far the craziset thing ive ever seen done to a Dak. What do you think. You approve or not?

I took these at the Carlisle Truck Nationals, today. Here are more pics from throughout the day.

Dissaprove. There's a point where a truck just looks retarded and that won first place. The engine with all the stuff added on blocks a lot of the view, makes the hood weak, and plus that big hole doesn't look right imo. Besides the engine I think it looks good.

It's a trailer queen. 'Guy that owns that is from WVA... forgot his name. No way that thing is functional... 4 4bbls 'n a pair of roots blowers? Gimme a break! Fastest that'll go is on/off the trailer 'n across the lot.

I took this picture and heard the truck run at Rockingham this past spring. I can appreciate the amount of work he has in the truck.

It was running... but it didn't 'run' at Rockingham. Never got out of the pit area. He had it at the 4th DRTC meet (before all those blowers) 'n nobody was impressed (133 R/T's in attendance) I think his name is Gary Sheldon.

No doubt there's a ton of money in it... However... there's no roll bar. No telltale bars into the bed from the cab. I think if I was gonna go that far... it'd at least be practical to race it.

do you have a roll cage megashifter? when did that become the benchmark for performance? i mean, i understand where youre going with this...that if it runs mid 11s or better it has to be caged in the IHRA or NHRA tracks..but it must take an incredible amount of tuning to get that engine to run well...

I don't really think it was meant to be more than a show truck anyway. That 360 would never take the air volume being produced by those SC's. When I saw it running, not run the 1/4, it was popping like crazy. I was somewhat amazed it ran at all, but he never did even goose it, soooooo........
