I live in Iceland, and it's snow outside now. My SRT-4 runs good in the snow, havn't had a problem yet. Are the stock tires marked M+S (Mud+Snow) because mine are. The LSD makes a big difference, just release the gas pedal when the wheels start to spin and push the pedal as smooth as you can. No problem. I'll send you a picture taken few days ago of my friend on his Impreza GT stuck in the snow with 4x4 and LSD in the rear.And another pic of my friends Nissan:

I can promise my dealer stock tires are not marked M+S.........they can't even be marked R+D (rain and drizzle!)

they must put different tires on over there. i picked up my 4 winters (ever so slightly used) and 2 steel rims for like 300 bucks off of a guy here in KC. just had to buy the other 2 steelies for like 100 bucks. not too bad a deal if you ask me. then i got another set of summers w/ stock rims (new) for 400 bucks. there is no reason to buy anything 'stock' at retail price for these cars, there are too many extra parts and such just floating around.
