ORIGINAL: black4 so 235 will fit fine with a 1inch drop? Should, I'm running 245's w/ a 1" drop and only very minor rubbing.

No, the ACR has the exact same BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2 tires that all the '04 and '05 SRT-4's have. The only difference is the size, the SRT-4 has 17 X 6 wheels with 205/50/17 tires, but the ACR has 16 X 7 wheels with 225/45/16 tires. These tires are great, they're just too narrow like the wheels, they should have came with 17 X 7 wheels and 225 or 235 tires. The complaint is how easily it overpowers the tires making it very difficult to launch.

Not a problem. They handle great, I just wish they were wider.

Unless you drive like NASCAR's Mark Martin or Tony Stewart, the stock tires work fine. In the rain or snow (what's that?) you need to be lighter on the pedal, just like any car/truck. Use common sense, save your money by not buying needless upgraded tires and remember SOMEBODY will ALWAYS be trying to sell you something "better"....... Dusty

Dusty You'd change your mind if you borrowed my 245's and then hit the street. At your power level, the 245's will hook hard on the street. Launch at 3k rpm in 1st then hit WOT w/ a couple of barks, WOT shift to 2nd, tires bark once and then hook up. The 205's were just the wrong tire to put on this car. It should have come from the factory with at least 215's, 225's would have been better. And those 6" wide wheels are a joke. Should have been 17x7's from the factory.
