Default 1998 Intrepid

I have an interesting one. If my 1998 Intrepid sits in the sun too long and the cabin gets hot, then it causes one of the run circuits to fail. For example, the heater control switch, the electric window circuit, and the air bags. The really strange part is, if the engine is off and the key is on, all those components work fine. I often have to shut the engine off while I'm rolling to roll the windows down on a hot summer day. After a while of cooling, the circuit comes back and everything works fine. Has anyone had anything similar, or know what I can do to fix it?

Try to find the main relay of the failing circuit. If this one overheats - that can cause a problem. Also check the fuse box (usualy inside the cabin)...if some fuses are loose, they will go even more loose when hot.
Just my ideas...

Did anyone ever get this figured out? My 1997 Intrepid is doing the same thing.
