My SRT8 is out of Canada and on-the-way!

The Fleet Manager I am working with actually was able to track my car for me today. (Only because I called and made him do it!) It has left Canada and is presently on a rail car in Michigan. ETA is the 14th here in So. California. Just 2 days after I arrive home from a fishing trip to Canada. Ironic huh!

But not a bad homecoming present, eh?

I fly into Int. Falls, MN and meet up with the others, and then we shuttle up to Nestor Falls, Canada which is on Lake of the Woods. A float plane picks us up there the next morning and will drop us off for 7 full days at this spot

There will 4 of us in that new cabin. We have the main lake with portages to 4 other lakes with boats and motors on each lake to ouselves. This is our first time at these lakes. We have been going to one of their other outposts on Miner Lake

for 3 years. Last time we were there 6 of us caught over 400 Walleye and Northerns. This new group of lakes has large mouth (also refered to as qzking fish) and small mouth bass, lake trout and then the walleyes and northerns. I'm a saltwater fisherman so this bass and lake trout stuff is a whole new deal for me. I hired a local Pro Bass Tour guy to give me a lesson a few weeks ago. A lot harder fishing for bass than for the northerns I have to say. I love those fresh water "barracudas"!

Congratulations KK:

I saw the posts where you went to the Brampton site to check on your SRT. I believe after seeing this I'll give them the $25 contribution to be able to check on my VON Number. (although now that I think of it it may be a moot point right now if they're off for two weeks to re-tool the plant).

Do you happen to know if your SRT went through "quickly" because you removed the Kicker Stereo option?

Just got off the plane from Canada and, yes, I am sure that my car got through because my Fleet Manager deleted the Kicker system! No doubt!
