Default Desperately need Durango help

I have a 2001 Durango,5.9 I bought it used 2 years ago. Since the day I bought it,I have had trouble with the engine surging. The farther I drive the worse it gets, the hotter it is outside, the worse it gets. It gets so bad sometimes that it kicks in and out of OD. I have had the transmission replaced,2 torque convertors, all new injectors, EGR valve,it has been in the shop 8 tomes and no one can figure it out. It is not in the drive train because sometimes it will do it at idle, the tack will jump 2-3 hundred rpm. If anyone has any ideas please email me at kathi@1st.net. I am almost to the point of giving up and parking it. Thanks

Did you try the Throttle Position Sensor, it's a common problem for these trucks
