Default Steering wheel not grounded can't find how to ground, horn thus not working

Horn not working. Traced problem to steering wheel not grounded to chassie. Removed steering wheel, turn indicator and ignition switch. Still can not see how wheel should be grounded. Found copper trace on side of switch but it does not go to any plug pins. In addition sterring column not grouned to chassie either. So even if the steering wheel was grounded to the steering column horn would still not work. Haynes book which is usually good has no info on this. Getting ready to mount a stupid switch on the dash but hate to give up since the column is apart.
